“As my friends know, I have travelled extensively in Islamic countries, & I only ever received kindness and respect. Let’s respect our Muslim sisters this Friday by wearing hijab. This idea has been born out of the terrorist attack in our country last Friday which has left many Muslim women too afraid to don their headscarves. Our country represents religious freedom, freedom of expression and tolerance of difference. Please support our sisters this Friday by giving them strength in numbers. We are one.❤️”-Kerrin, New Zealand, @kerrinisme . ?Wear a hijab (scarf) to show solidarity with Muslim women of Christchurch on March 22. Kita adalah satu.”-Kerrin, New Zealand.

“In light of the tragic attack last friday that has no doubt broken us all. If you’re like me and just feel an overwhelming urge to show your support and love but just dont know how, I encourage all women to wear a headscarf this friday… 1 week on from the attack, to show your solodarity, love & support. Muslim women SHOULD NOT feel scared leaving their homes. I’m so incredibly proud of the outpouring of love that this beautiful country of ours has shown.”?-Courtney, New Zealand, @courtneyannamae⠀ .⠀ ?Wear a hijab (scarf) to show solidarity with Muslim women of Christchurch on March 22.
